Marple Newtown battled for 48 minutes, but Strath Haven was ultimately too much, topping the Tigers 21-7 on Friday night.  The Tigers struck first on a 37-yard touchdown run by Anthony Rosanio, but Strath Haven scored 21 unanswered points for the win.

Rosanio’s scamper put the Tigers up 7-0, but Strath Haven scored twice to take a 14-7 lead into the half.  The teams traded possessions in the second half, until the Panthers scored to seal the game with under a minute left to play.
