Anthony Paoletti, Sr.

Assistant Coach

Anthony is a volunteer Assistant Coach and a member of the Marple Newtown Football Booster Club.

A 1987 graduate of Penn Wood High School, Paoletti played under head coach Mike Guille. As a senior, Anthony was named 1st Team All-Del Val League, 1st Team All News of Delaware County, and was selected to represent the Patriots in the Hero Bowl as a defensive end. In addition, Paoletti was selected Captain of Penn Wood’s football and baseball teams his senior year.

Prior to joining Marple Newtown’s staff in 2014, Paoletti’s was the Head Coach of the Freshman Team at Penn Wood High School from 1990 through 1992 and a volunteer with the University of Pennsylvania football program between 2011 and 2013. Since 2005, Anthony has been an active coach with the Marple Junior Tigers (MJT) organization.

Paoletti has been a volunteer coach & board member for the Marple Junior Tigers for the last 10 years. As a Head Coach for MJT, Paoletti’s teams won six Division Championships, three Conference Championships and one Bert Bell League Championship (2007). Paoletti is a Past President and current Vice-President of the MJT.

A graduate of Widener University, Paoletti has been a sales manager for TB Philly Inc. for the past 18 years specializing in concrete and masonry restoration.

Anthony resides in Broomall with his wife Suzanne, and their four children Gabrielle (MN Class of 2015), Anthony, Ava and Joe.
