JV drops defensive battle at Lower Merion

By 11 September, 2012No Comments

The Tigers Junior Varsity squad took the field for the first time in 2012 on Monday, traveling to Lower Merion.  Both teams play tough defense, but the Aces found the end zone once to win 6-0.

Lower Merion drove inside the Tigers 10-yard line late in the third quarter, but Lucas Maas came up with an interception in the end zone to stop the drive.  Despite tough runs by Tiger backs Brian Rosborough and Brian Bosko, the offense was unable to find paydirt on the afternoon.

The JV squad will host Strath Haven on Saturday, September 15 at Harry Harvey Field at 10A.
