Zach Young

IMG_7050Assistant Coach, Wide Receivers & Defensive Backs

Zach is an assistant coach with the Marple Newtown football program working with the wide receivers and defensive backs.

He spent six seasons at Conestoga High School where he was the wide receivers and defensive backs coach.

Zach played for the Pioneers from 2002 through 2005 under Chris and Harry Gicking as a wide receiver and free safety. Young helped Conestoga win back-to-back Central Athletic League Championships in 2004 and 2005. As a team Captain for the Pioneers, Zach earned All Central League and All Main Line honors.

Young attended NCAA Division II West Chester University where he played football for two seasons under head coach Bill Zwaan. As a Golden Ram, Zach was a reserve outside linebacker and played on special teams. In addition, Young was a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship team in 2007.

Zach is a 2006 graduate of Conestoga High School and a 2010 graduate of West Chester University.

Currently residing in Paoli, PA, Zach is employed by ICON Clinical Research working in Clinical Operations.
