Marple Newtown took a 7-6 lead into halftime against Haverford on Friday night, but the Fords scored three times in the second half to earn the 28-14 victory.

Trailing 6-0 late in the second half, the Tigers two-minute offense found the end zone to give the Orange & Black a 7-6 lead.  Quarterback Tommy Davis found Joe Vegso for a 40-yard touchdown pass, and Nick Pezzotti added the extra point.

Mike White rushed for 152 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown.  Tommy Davis completed 5 of 10 passes for 113 yards, including the touchdown strike to Vegso, who had 3 catches for 112 yards.  Overall, the Tigers offense had 199 yards rushing, 113 passing and 15 first downs.

Defensively, Ross Binder had two interceptions and Corey Power added a sack.
