The Marple Newtown football team has won the Don Hoffmann Sportsmanship Award for the fourth time in the last five years. The Suburban Philadelphia Football Officials Association gives this award during their post-season banquet.
After each Central League game, the officials score each team using a 10-point scale. Marple Newtown had 89 points (highest possible is 90).
Congratulations to the players and coaches for setting another fine example of what it means to be a Marple Newtown Tiger!
