The fourth quarter did not have any scoring but Marple’s defense came up huge to stop Upper Darby from scoring at the end of the game. On fourth down Upper Darby could not punch it in from the one yard line. The defense was able to close out the game with a shutout.
After coming off of a tough loss last week at home against Garnet Valley, Marple was able to bounce back strong and defeat Upper Darby on the road. Marple looks to continue their playoff bound season by hitting the road once again to play Harriton next week.
