The Marple Newtown Football program will be well represented at the annual Delaware County Hero Bowl. Adam Fender, Kevin Johnson, Carl Kasarsky and Kevan Strigle will play in the contest that benefits the Hero Scholarship Fund.
The Hero Bowl is scheduled for June 3 at Widener University. The Tigers will join other Central League All-Stars and Inter-Ac All-Stars for the West team. The East team will consist of Del-Val and Catholic League Stars.
