The Tigers ended their 2011 fall camp with a scrimmage against Academy Park. The Knights, who are expected to contend for the Del-Val title, visited Harry Harvey Field and completed the scrimmage as rain began to fall.
The Tigers will now turn their attention towards Sun Valley. The Vanguards, who play in the Ches-Mont League – American Division, come to Harry Harvey Field on Friday night to kickoff the 2011 regular season.
The schools have met 8 times in their history, with Marple Newtown winning 5 times. The Tigers visited Sun Valley to open the 2010 season, and won 26-0.
