The East-West All-Star Game returned to the state after a one-year absence, and Marple Newtown’s Cimirrow Moat was there to represent the Tigers and the Central League.
Central Catholic Quarterback Perry Hills (Maryland) completed 8 of 9 passes for 273 yards and four touchdowns as the West Squad defeated the East, 45-24.

Quarterback Matt Johns of Central Bucks South (Virginia), who was 8 for 14 for 154 yards and one touchdown, earned East MVP honors.

The East team ,which included Marple Newtown’s running back Cimirrow
Moat (Wesley ) got off to a fast start.  They led 10-0 before Sto-Rox’s Dontez Ford
(Syracuse) scored on a 7 yard touchdown reception.  The West went on to outscore the East 38-14, the rest of the way. There were 10 plays from scrimmage over 30 yards.

Cimirrow Moat was used as a running back and a receiver.  He lined up as a 1 back, a number 2 receiver in the slot  and the tailback in the I formation.  He carried the ball 5 times for 14 yards on jet sweeps, iso, power and a stretch play.  He caught two passes in the flat for
12 yards.  Although unable to find enough space to break a trademark long play, Cimirrow had a couple of nice runs.

Mark Doe from Academy Park (Delaware) caught 2 passes for 85 yards. His teammate Jeremiah Lowery (Bloomsburg) and Shane Johnson from Cardinal O’Hara (Salisbury) played on the defensive side for the East representing Delaware County. The Central League was represented on the coaching staff by Upper Darby Head Coach Rich Gentile who was an
assistant for the East team.

The PFSCA East – West All Star Game with the  East still holding the lead with 7 wins and 5 losses will take place at Downingtown West High School next year.
