Marple Newtown battled for 48 minutes, but the visiting Jaguars were too much, as Garnet Valley won 40-6 on Friday night.

Anthony Rosanio ran hard all night and added the lone score for the Tigers on a 43-yard touchdown run in the second half.  Rosanio finished the night with 101 yards on 10 carries.  Quarterback Tommy Davis was 5-for-12 for 57 yards on the night, while linebacker A.J. Cunningham helped lead the defensive effort with 6 tackles.

Other defensive standouts included Nik Rhoads (12 tackles, 2.5 TFLs), Craig Hamilton (8 tackles), Ross Binder (7 tackles), Corey Power (6 tackles, .5 TFL) and Andrew McHale (5 tackles, .5 TFL).

The Tigers will now turn their attention to Upper Darby, as they visit the Royals on Friday, October 19 at 7P.
