Marple Newtown graduate Pete Massaro was named first team Academic All-American for the second time in his Penn State career. The Nittany Lion senior graduated in 2011 with a degree in Finance and is scheduled to earn his second undergraduate degree in Economics later this month.
Pete was also named the Nittany Lions Ridge Riley Award winner, along with quarterback Matt McGloin. The award is given annually to a senior (or seniors) for “sportsmanship, scholarship, leadership and friendship”.
