Marple Newtown football players took to the court on Tuesday for the annual Basketball Night. Five teams of six competed in a round-robin tournament, followed by the semifinals and championship game.
Members of the winning team included Mike White, Anthony Patrone, LarryO’Connor, Ryan Schneider and Brett Mellman. Coaches were on-hand to help officiate the games and keep the tournament running.
The Tigers will continue their offseason lifting program after school, and will add a night session for players participating in spring sports next week.
