Members of the Marple Newtown Football team will once again attend the Herman Football Camp at East Stroudsburg in June. Students are invited to register for the camp that will be held from Thursday June 27th to Saturday June 29th .
This optional camp is open to all members of the Marple Newtown football team (entering grades 10 thru 12). The cost is $280. ($230 for camp and $50 for transportation).
Students will have the opportunity to improve football skills and learn the MN Tiger offense, while participating in practices that are similar to MNHS Football. Plus, camp attendees will get a feel for the college experience, staying in ESU’s dorms, eating in their cafeteria, etc.
The Tigers have attended the Herman FB Camp for several years and found the experience valuable on and off the field. In addition to improved skills, players and coaches have the opportunity to bond as a team and develop chemistry.
A Marple Newtown School District bus will transport the team to East Stroudsburg and back home to MNHS. We will leave in the morning on Thursday June 27th and return home in the early evening on Saturday June 29th.
In order to organize the trip & transportation a $50 DEPOSIT IS DUE BY May 6th (the 1st Monday in May). DEPOSIT CHECKS ARE MADE PAYABLE TO: Ray Gionta. . Send the registration form to me; along with your deposit. You can send it into school with your son or mail it to me at MNHS, 120 Media Line Rd. NS, PA 19073. The deposit is refundable.
Your check for the balance ($230 ) is due by Thursday June 27th. This check should be made payable to: Tom Herman.
