A few new faces will be on the sidelines for Marple Newtown in 2013.  Sal Oropollo, Isaac Jones, Steve Reynolds and Nate Oropollo will help tutor the new crop of Tigers this season.

Sal Oropollo will lead the Tigers defensive unit as the Defensive Coordinator.  The veteran coach is best-known for his days as the Head Coach at Academy Park, where he tutored fellow coach Ted Carotenuto.

Isaac Jones joins the staff after several years as an assistant at Delaware County Christian School.  Jones enjoyed a successful playing career at Strath Haven and Purdue University.

Nate Oropollo recently finished an outstanding playing career as a defensive end at Lycoming.  Nate will help coach the defensive line.

Steve Reynolds joins the staff as a part-time assistant coach.  Reynolds will remain as the color commentator for the Tigers Radio Network on game days.

Head Coach Ray Gionta returns for his eleventh season at the helm of the Marple Newtown program.  Gionta, who set the school record for all-time coaching victories, has several coaches returning for 2013.

Gary Molineux and Bill Fulton return as assistant coaches for the varsity and junior varsity teams.  Ted Cartoenuto, Tom Davidson and Steve Giordano will continue to lead the freshmen program.
