BROOMALL, PA – The Marple Newtown High School football team volunteered their services to assist with the Broomall Rotary Junior Olympics. This event, held on Sunday, April 27th at Veterans Park in Broomall, is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Broomall.
Children ages 3 to 10 participated in track and field events, including: the 50-yard dash, broad jump and ball throw, among others.
The Tigers, as a part of their community service commitment, were present to assist the youngsters in each event. In addition, MN football players presented youngsters with their medals during the medal ceremony at the conclusion of the event.
