As snow currently lays atop the turf surface of Harry Harvey Stadium, we are 216 days away from the Marple Newtown Tiger’s 88th football campaign.

The 2015 edition of the Marple Newtown Tigers will be unleashed on Friday, September 4th (Labor Day Weekend) against Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield, PA. The Lions are coming off a tough 2014 season in which they went 1-9. New Cardinal O’Hara head football coach B.J. Hogan is hoping to turn his program around in 2015.

The following week the Tigers will host Penn Wood in their home opener (9/11/15) when Marple Newtown will celebrate Military Appreciation Night. The Tiger’s first two games will feature non-league opponents and the last eight teams will be from the Central Athletic League.

The Central League schedule remains the same with AAA Strath Hvaen, Springfield, Radnor, Penncrest, and Harriton on the schedule.

The AAAA schools have two teams that rotate on and off the schedule. 2015 returns Conestoga and Garnet Valley to the schedule; while Haverford and Ridley rotate off.

Homecoming/Alumni night will be on Friday, October 16th and Senior Night will be Friday, November 6th. The full JV and Freshman schedules can be found by clicking on this link.
