Five seniors to represent MN in Hero Bowl

Five Marple Newtown seniors will represent the Tigers at the Delaware County Hero Bowl on Thursday, May 31 at Widener University.
Cimirrow Moat (RB), Joey Pham (WR) and Connor Breslin (OL) will help set the tone offensively for the West squad, while Chris Kurkian (DL) will hold down the West defense.  Anthony Nicolardi (K) will handle the kicking duties for the West team.
The Tiger stars will be joined by their Central League mates and the stars of the Inter-AC.  The team will be coached by Garnet Valley headman Mike Ricci.  Marple Newtown Head Coach Ray Gionta will serve as an assistant for the West team.
The East starts consist of the Del-Val League, Bonner and O’Hara, and will be led by Bonner coach Tom Oropeza.
Proceeds from the game benefit the Hero Scholarship Fund of Delaware County.  The Fund provides scholarships for the children of police officers, firefighters and EMS workers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
The Hero Scholarship Fund is supported by the Delaware County Coaches Association and the Delaware County Council.
