As snow still blankets every inch of Harry Harvey Stadium, we are 187 days away from the Marple Newtown Tigers 87th football campaign.

The 2014 edition of the Marple Newtown Tigers will be unleashed on the Friday before Labor Day (August 29) on the road against Academy Park. The Knights are coming off a District One Class AAA championship and will once again be contenders for a district and Del-Val championship. Academy Park, under the direction of Jason Vosheski, is located in Sharon Hill.

The following week the Tigers will travel to Strath Haven and their new turf field for the Central Athletic League opener.

The Central League schedule remains the same with AAA Springfield, Radnor, Penncrest, and Harriton on the schedule.

The AAAA schools have two teams that rotate on and off the schedule. 2014 returns Haverford, Conestoga and Ridley to the schedule; while Garnet Valley and Upper Darby rotate off.

Homecoming and Alumni night and Senior Night are TBD at this time. The full JV and Freshman schedules can be found by clicking on this link.
