NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA – The Tigers started mini-camp this afternoon at Harry Harvey Stadium on the campus of Marple Newtown High School. Today marked their first of a five day mini-camp under the new head football coach, Chris Gicking.

Next week, on June 10th, the Tigers will participate in their first of five 7-on-7 passing scrimmages in the month of June and will participate in two more passing scrimmages in the month of July.

In addition to the 7-on-7 passing scrimmages in July, the team will attend an overnight camp at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA.

Throughout the summer, the Tigers will continue their strength and conditioning in the weight room at Marple Newtown High School before returning to campus for the start of training camp which commences on Monday, August 11th.

Marple Newtown opens the 2014 season in 88 days on August 29th, when the Tigers will visit the defending District One (AAA) Champion Knights of Academy Park High School in Sharon Hill, PA.
