As snow currently lays atop the turf surface of Crozer Keystone Stadium, we are 196 days away from the Marple Newtown Tiger’s 90th football campaign.

The 2017 edition of the Marple Newtown Tigers will be unleashed on Friday, August 26th during their season opener against Florida High School (Tallahassee, FL) inside ESPN’s World Wide of Sports Complex in Kissimmee, Florida.

The following week the Tigers will host Penncrest on 9/1/17.

The Tiger’s first game will feature a non-league opponent and the last nine teams will be from the Central Athletic League.

The Central League schedule remains the same with AAA Strath Haven, Radnor, and Harriton on the schedule. In addition, MN will host Springfield in 2017.

The AAAA schools have three teams that rotate on and off the schedule. 2017 returns Ridley, Haverford and Garnet Valley to the schedule; while Upper Darby rotates off.
